VALLEY JUNIORS HAUL IN MEDALS, PB’s and CHAMPIONSHIP EXPERIENCE
Over the three days of competition at the 2026 Victorian Junior T&F Championships 43 Diamond Valley Athletic Club juniors (18 Female & 25 Male) packed in a wealth of experience at Championship level, won a total of 26 medals (8 Gold, 8 Silver and 10 Bronze), and set three new club records. The most impressive feature was the high percentage of the Valley juniors who walked away from the Lakeside Stadium having achieved new levels of performance.

DVAC CLUB RECORDS:
Heidi Kuppler won the F16 3000m in a thriller, clocking 9:52.09 and set a new club record for DVAC from the U14 right through to Open age.
Samuel Reeve smashed through the 2 minute barrier in the final of the M16 800m, recording 1:58.38. This broke his own DVAC M15 club record of 2:01.33.
William Quigley established a new DVAC club record for the M16 2000m Steeplechase over the 84cm barriers. William was placed third in the M16 Steeplechase with a time of 6:22.51.
