For the 41 DVAC athletes (24 Female & 17 Male) who participated in Week 1 of the 2024 Victorian Track & Field Championships, the experience was a valuable chance to perform under the pressure of Championship conditions. The fact that the DVAC athletes won a total of 26 medals (10 Gold, 8 Silver and 8 Bronze) across the three days of competition and a majority of the athletes came away with either personal best performances or season best performances was evidence of success at the Valley. · Read more
The Diamond Valley Athletic Club has won the 2023/2024 season in the Athletics VictoriaPremier Division in the AVSL competition, making it back-to-back premierships. By the end of competition in Round 12, DVAC were on top of the Premier Division ladder for the ninth time in the season and five points clear of Eaglehawk. · Read more

DVAC had 62 athletes (29 Female & 33 Male) compete in AVSL Round 11 and they earned a total of 44,386 points for the Round, enough to edge out Eaglehawk who finished on 42, 594 points. The DVAC total means that the ‘average’ score for 62 athletes was a healthy 715 points. · Read more
The Diamond Valley Athletic Club has moved to top spot on the Premier Division ladder with a record score of 71,856 points in Round 10 of the Athletics Victoria Shield League. The call to athletes to support the DVAC decision to utilise the Powerplay in Round 10 attracted a season high 103 athletes (49 Female & 54 Male) to turn out and practice their skills & contribute to the total. With the metropolitan venues at Werribee and Mt Evelyn, AVSL Rd 9 was always going to be a battle for DVAC to take the top points in the Premier Division. As it turned out, the 64 DVAC athletes (34 Female & 28 Male) did well to accumulate a total score of 45,595 points for the day, but it was no match for the might of Eaglehawk who dominated the round with 55,913 points. · Read more
The Diamond Valley Athletic Club is the defending Premier Division champion club and a win in Round 8 of the AVSL season has kept the hopes alive of being able to make it two in a row. It’s all on a knife edge as DVAC now sits eight points behind Eaglehawk on the Premier Division ladder and still needs to win three of the final four rounds of Shield including Round 10 when DVAC intends to use its Powerplay & double the points for that round. · Read more
