Vic Master Championships

GOLDEN DOUBLE FOR SPRINT PAIR
Ten members of the Diamond Valley Athletic Club participated in the 2009 Victorian Masters & Athletics Victoria Track & Field Championships held at Box Hill at the end of March. By the end of the Championships, the DVAC crew had walked off with ten Gold, three Silver and two Bronze medals.
Andrew Stirling cleaned up in the Men's 40-44 Throws events, winning the Hammer Throw, Shot Put and the Weight Throw events.
Greg Champion won the 100m Hurdles, the High Jump and was second in the 400m Hurdles.
Other Gold medallists were Bernie Keirl in the M45-49 3000m Walk and Maryann Murray in the W35-39 5000m.
